How to Pay for a Counselling Session.

Your counselling session fee (click for fees) is payable on the day of your session. You may pay your fee:-

  • IN PERSON: by cash, cheque [made out to Dean Richardson], credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay,
  • ONLINE: credit/debit card, bank transfer* or PayPal (using the form on this page).
You don’t need to have a PayPal account to pay online using a credit or debit card. When you click [Pay Now] the amount you’ve entered will be sent to PayPal for processing and to take your confirmation & payment method.

There are no surcharges for paying by card, Contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay nor PayPal.

First Session Deposits.

To confirm your first session I will ask for a £30 deposit to be sent prior to the appointment. Your first session’s appointment date/time is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Your deposit comes off your first session fee, the remainder of which is payable on the day of the appointment. So, if the session fee is £45.00 – you pay a deposit of £30 and £15 is payable on the day of the session.

After our first session, all subsequent sessions are payable weekly, on the day of the session, in full (no deposit is required).

Refunding Deposits.

If you cancel our first appointment with a minimum of 48 hours notice I will refund your £30 deposit.

If you cancel our first appointment with less than 48 hours notice (or don’t appear for the appointment), your deposit goes towards funding my financial loses.

Note: you are about to make a secure payment to Counsellor Dean Richardson MNCS(Accred/Reg) for private counselling services.

You can use your smartphone's banking app to set up and make payments this way. During our first appointment I will give you my bank account details so that you may pay using your own banking app if you wish.
