The code is actually DIVI-unaware. It scans for all tags that don’t have a class, attempts to find the img in the WordPress tables, if successful it’ll then be able to insert the appropriate class statement into the IMG tag, and that’s sufficient.

WordPress then gets to work doing all the srcset stuff.

Really, provided that Divi uses an tag this code will work (I believe srcset doesn’t apply to background images anyway).

Seems to work well. Though only on the Image module from what I can tell. That’s expected, but I’m hoping when ET fixes all this (they say something is coming soon) they’ll make it work on other modules that include images: blog, blurbs, etc. Plus I hope they’ll do something about background images, loading smaller versions on smaller screens. That’s one of the most egregious issues with Divi: we need the large images for high-res monitors, but it’s entirely overkill for small screens.
