UPDATE (14th June, 2021) – the Government has announced that Lockdown in England is to be extended a further 4 weeks, now scheduled to end on Monday 19th July.
The Government has announced plans on how we will return / hope to be returning out of lockdown by June 2021.
My plans for my counselling practice are to continue offering online/video counselling for the foreseeable future. I am not planning to return to face-to-face work.
This means:-
- All existing counselling contracts will continue using video (Zoom/Skype etc) as before – we will work together for as long as it takes us to decide to say goodbye.
- All new counselling contracts will be offered as online/video counselling only (as described in the appropriate places on this website).
Of course, clients’ availability may change as their work situations change, so we will try to accommodate this as far as we can. But where we don’t have any common available times we may have to postpone our work – or bring it to a close (possibly for a client to consider engaging with another counsellor).
We’ll do our best for individual circumstances.
